Regimental markings along with Maker Stamp
Black lacquered leather helmet body with brass trim. Helmet shell in excellent condition with the ususal age crazing but no cracks or else. Nice Lacquer finish and firm stitching to visors. The Frontplate is the Prussian Line Eagle with bandeau "Mit Gott Für Koenig Und Vaterland". No extra holes, plate is secured through brass loops with original leather pieces.
Brass spike secured with round brads. Original leather strap and both Cockades over M1891 lugs. The inside has the original black dyed leather liner that remains supple. The Helmet is marked to the "J.R. 15" "1905" and "2.B" "1909" inside shell, along with the "Helm Fabrik" Maker "Alexander Dahl in Bremen". Back Visor stamped with "Kammerstempel" with "2.B. 1909 5.C".
