Prussian Line Dragoon Officer Pickelhaube

Prussian Dragoon Officer model 1871/97 for Line Dragoon Regiments. Fine heavy leather construction with gild frosted brass trim. Leather helmet body in excellent condition with perfect lacquer finish and firm stitching. Interior has the sweat leather band and silk lining. Interior visors are colored red and green as is proper for Officers model helmet.

No extra holes in helmet body. The frontplate is the standard gilded Prussian Dragoon style Eagle with its original fire gilt frosting. The front plate fits the helmet to a perfect fit and left deep marks in lacquered leather. Fine brass crossed spike base  fiited with a smooth spike that unscrews for parade. Heavy rounded chinscales on rosettes. Both Prussian and Reichs Officer cockade. Beautiful fine quality Dragoon Officer Pickelhaube.
