Prussian Jäger zu Pferd Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Jaeger zu Pferde 8th Regiment – Enlisted Man Model 1905. From the Rich Ames Collection. Lobstertail style blackened steel helmet with stepped front peak and swooped neck-guard and German Silver metal trim. The metal helmet is in perfect form and is in near mint condition. Blued exterior finish is still bright with no discoloration or damage. Back visor marked to the 2nd JZP regiment.

The interior of the helmet is fitted with a ten-tongue black dyed leather liner. The interior liner is still soft and supple. The frontplate is a silver EM Prussian Dragoon style plate. Silver equilateral crossed spike base with non-removable spike. Large tombac convex chinscales mounted over an M1895 side lugs. Large sized State and Reich cockades. This helmet is in pristine condition with no flaws or damage. 100% original in every detail.
