Prussian Jäger zu Pferd Enlisted Pickelhaube - MINT

Beautiful overall condition. Mint helmet

Prussian 8th Jaeger zu Pferde Regiment Enlisted Man Model 1900 (pre-war configuration). Fine stamped metal “Lobstertail” in the "Jaeger zu Pferde" style. Helmet body blued with fine Tombac metal trim. The helmet body is in excellent condition with no dents or other default. No bluing loss (see pictures). No extra holes in the helmet body. All Tombac metal trim is bright and even in color. Inside maker marked stamped by "C.E.Juncker" and dated "1915". 

The frontplate is the Prussian Dragoon Eagle which is held to the helmet body with the original leather wedges. The spike base is held to the helmet body with round brad retainers and screws. Heavy black dyed leather liner that is in near mint condition with remants of the original drawstring. Heavy rounded Tombac of the unique JzP style chinscales on M94 side lugs. Original large size Reichs and Prussian cockades (with light touch ups). Marked in back trim "58” for size and “8.J.P.”. Outstanding helmet that is in MINT condition.
