Prussian Model 1891 Infantry Enlisted Pickelhaube Shell

A nice shell with Regimental Markings "62 R."

Black lacquered Leather helmet shell in excellent overall condition. Previous owner gave it a beautiful shine! No crazing or other flaws. Both visor with firm stitching. The front of the helmet present the two original holes to fix a frontplate (screw type) and not grometed. The back visor also has the typical pre-1895 non ventilated back spine. Two M1891 Posts.

Inside liner is in good condition and still supple some age surface usage but no tears. Original drawstring. The front visor marked by the maker "CLEMEN". Back visor Stamped with "1896" (still unmodified for this example) and "62 R." ...for the 62nd Infantry Regiment (3rd. Oberschlesisches). A nice shell in general.
