Württemberg 19th Uhlan Regiment Officers Tschapka - Zu Parade
With Original carrying case in leather
Wurttemberg 19th Officers Tschapka fully dressed with Field Badge, Red Parade Rabatte, Officers Cords and Parade Bush circa 1900. Beautiful black lacquered leather body with silver frontplate and gold chinscales. The helmet has excellent form with all leather mortar board and proper turned down front visor. Visor stitching in firm condition. The exterior lacquer is in excellent condition with some age warping but still has nice sheen. No extra holes in the helmet body as the front plate is literally stuck through two tiny holes.
Black leather mortar board is in excellent condition with some age/storage waves but no cracks etc....it has the proper officer hook for parade cords. The helmet interior has normal sweat leather and brown silk headliner in about MINT condition. The silver front plate is the small Uhlan sized Wurttemberg coat of arms. Original rounded gold chinscales and original Reichs officer cockade.
The field badge is made of silver bullion cording with black edging and red center. The Tschapka came as "full dress" with a beautifull set of Uhlan Cords in silver bullion and Württemberg Black/Red colours. an original Yack hair parade bush completes this ensemble. Overall in amazing condition. All original, untouched and in "excellent plus to near mint condition". Rare find in today's marketplace.
