Prussian Regimental "Zahlmeister" or Paymaster Pickelhaube

Black lacquered leather helmet body with round front visor. Overall condition of lacquer is absolutely Mint. Helmet body remains in great shape with officers red and green visor underlays. All silver trim with the Prussian Line Eagle and "Vaterland" bandeau along with a small Gilt Eagle on its tail that indicate the rank of "OberBeamte".

Tall silver spike mounted on a round spike base and maintained by four gilt stars. Convex silver officers chinscales maintained by silver rosettes over a set of Officers Cockades. Inside lining is complete and in beautiful Mint condition. A unique helmet in itself for the Regimental Paymaster. Note that Regimental Doctors, Phamacists, Paymaster, Veterinarian etc.. were all listed in the Regimental officers "Rangisten".
