Prussian Model 1915 Infantry Enlisted Pickelhaube Shell

Regimentally marked inside visor.

Black lacquered Infantry Enlisted Helmet shell of the model 1915. Overall lacker with minor crazing but excellnet form and shape. Makers stamped inside and dated "1916". Size "55". Form stitching to both visors (front visor shows discreat traces of glue?). Back visor marked to "J.R.156" and dated "1916". Inside lining is the wartime last type undyed. Missing approx 35% of lining. Sides are attched with some tape (see pictures) placed by former owner to hold the liner on the sides. The front has the typical grometed holes in steel. A set of extra holes appear as well. A nice shell to complete a helmet or display a field cover.
