Prussian Militär-Beamter "Ober Veterinär" Pickelhaube

Prussian Senior Military Administration (Oberer Beamte) Model 1897 for Veterinarian Officer. The Military Beamte were Officers who held a military rank and provided for the Administration of the Prussian Army.  This helmet is in absolutely MINT condition. Black lacquered leather helmet with only light wear and with frosted gold trim. Dragoon style body with square type front visor. Firm stitching to both visors. The helmet has perfect form and there are no extra holes in the helmet body.

Beautiful gilt cross base held to body by 4 Gold stars. Smooth spike that untwists/unscrews. Gilt convex/rounded chinscales maintained by rosettes. Reichs and Prussian officers Cockades. The frontplate is the gold Prussian Line Eagle without banner with a small silver Prussian Eagle on the tail. The inside of the helmet has mint calfskin and silk lining with a few minor wear tears.
