Prussian Garde Dragoon NCO Private Purchase Pickelhaube

Prussian Guard Dragoon Non-Commissioned Officer Model 1895. The helmet has never been cleaned or polished. Fine heavy leather helmet body with brass trim. The helmet body in excellent form and firm stitching. The lacquer finish is dull with age and has some surface scratches. Interior has NCO style leather flat tabbed liner that is in excellent condition. The helmet interior visors are plain leather and have no legible markings. No extra holes in the helmet body.

The frontplate is the lightly gilded Prussian Guard Dragoon Eagle that is held to the helmet body with screws. Brass crossed spike base with pearl ring at spike base. Missing removable EM spike. Heavy M1895 chinscales on M91 side lugs. Both Prussian and Reichs NCO cockades. Nice example of a Guard NCO Dragoon helmet. Needs a little TLC. Bargain priced!!!
