Bavarian 2nd Jäger Batalion "Einjähriger" Tunic and Visor
Nice coherent ensemble.
Tunic is composed of blue tight woven cloth with fine green piping to the front, rear skirt and cuffs; standing green collar and cuffs with all appropriate tombac coloured buttons present. One Year Volunteer "Einjahr Freiwilliger" shoulder boards each display the number "2" numerals. Bavarian fire gilt NCO badge/button to the right collar. The left one is missing. Overall a very nice tunic with little to none moth damage.
Visor is composed of cloth similar in colors to the tunic - Blue cloth with green band and green piping. Overall condition is also excellent. Both Cockades present to the front. Inside sweatband shows some minor wear and moth nips to the edge (see pictures). Lining is dated "1913" and marked "R.K.".... A very nice Jäger ensemble.
