Württemberg 25th Dragoon Officers Pickelhaube

Wurttemberg 25th Dragoon Regiment (1st Württemberg - Stationned in Ludwigsburg) Officer Model 1897. Black lacquered leather helmet body with frosted silver trim and squared front visor. The helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is near mint and retains a mat finish. There are no extra holes in helmet body. The helmet interior has excellent conditioned sweat leather and silk headliner. in MINT condition 

The helmet has a silver crossed spike base with officer pearl/diamond ornamentation at base of spike.  Smooth removable spike.  Large gold stars retain cross base to helmet. The Frontplate is the silver Wurttemberg Crest held to helmet with two screws/nuts. Original convex rounded gilded chinscales with silver officer rosette.  Original officers Reich and Wurttemberg cockades.  This helmet is all original and has not been polished or cleaned. It remains untouched. Beautiful and rare regimental helmet.
