Württemberg Field Artillery Enlisted Pickelhaube

Wuerttemberg Field Artillery EM (Private Purchase) Model 1895. Black lacquered leather helmet body with fine quality brass trim. Helmet has perfect form and firm stitching. Leather helmet body has fine exterior lacquer. Interior liner is the classic EM black tongue liner that is still supple with age. Interior visors are plain leather with no markings. No extra holes in the helmet body.

The frontplate is the standard Wuerttemberg crest that is held to the helmet body with wedges. The spike base is private purchase quality with removable ball top for replacement with a plume for parade dress. Back spine the non-vented style which was used for mounted field artillery. Rounded EM style M1895 brass chinscales that fit over M91 side lugs. Enlisted Reichs and Wuerttemberg cockades. Beautiful “Private Purchase” helmet.
